The Nutcracker Ballet in College Station

We always like to meet Mom for a "Girls Holiday Weekend" of some sort, but the weather keeps ruining all of our ideas. This year, we decided to meet in College Station. We had no idea what we were going to do because we wanted to definitely avoid Santa's Wonderland madness. At the last minute, we found out there was a production of The Nutcracker playing that day. We decided to go and check it out. It was great! A much more scaled down version, for sure, but it was right up our alley. After the show, we went back to our awesome hotel room for some pizza and Christmas crafts. We did go out to check out the light display in a city park when we went out to get the pizza. It was at least a little Christmas outing. We also swam in the indoor pool the next day. It's always so fun to have a quick getaway with our Nammie!
