My Tiny Dancer

Brooke started dance at the YMCA this year, and she absolutely loved every minute of it! Usually 3 or 4 days a week when she woke up she would ask, "Is it dance day today?" I love her teacher, and her philosophy on dance - basically teach them a little, but have fun a lot. Her first dance recital, unfortunately was on the same day as Adilyn's swim meet, so it made the day a little crazier than normal. Adilyn was bummed out that she couldn't watch her, but she was able to watch her rehearsal earlier in the week. It was so cute to see little Brooke up there as one of the youngest groups. They all did great, and Brooke at first forgot to look up and watch her teacher. She kept looking at her friends, but when they are all 4 and 5 and have no idea what they are doing either, that doesn't work out too well. About halfway through the first dance, she remembered to look up at her, and then things were smooth sailing! Cory, Kacy, and I were all there to cheer her on. She was so proud of herself and her very first medal! She couldn't be much cuter :) The first few pictures are her dance pictures that I took in the woods. All the other girls have done it, so this one couldn't be left out!
