The Heat YMCA Volleyball!

Adilyn has been wanting to play volleyball for forever. I think she still associates it with me coaching volleyball, so she wanted to be like me. Finally, the time has come that she is old enough to play volleyball at the YMCA. I knew what a lot of the coaches are like at the Y, and I couldn't stand on the sidelines and watch someone attempt to coach her teaching her all wrong. So, I decided I would volunteer to coach. I thought it would be fun to invite some of the MOMs club girls to play with us, too. Three of them decided to play, so it's really nice to have some parents and kids that we already know. It's been interesting to far. They are so young, and only one of them have played before. It's a little hard for them to figure everything out. We have some serious serving issues, but they are learning! I am trying to keep things fun, while they are learning. Adilyn doesn't love it, but she says that she doesn't hate it either. I was hoping that she would really take to it and actually try to get better, but she keeps saying it's too hard. We will see how things go throughout the season!
