Animal Kingdom was a wet and drizzly day, but it was perfect! We had FastPasses for the Kilimanjaro Safaris right away in the morning, so we went that way. On our way, we stopped for a very cool African drum show. The girls were too sleepy to dance, but they liked watching it! The safari was pretty cool, and we got to see quite a few animals up close. Lots of giraffes, elephants, hippos, and a couple lions were out and about. Kacy wanted to take pictures so bad, so I gave her my phone. I think she snapped about 60 pictures in a matter of minutes! After the safari ride, we went on a little walking trail to see more animals, but it was pretty crowded there and kind of boring. We decided to go ahead and go to lunch. We had reservations for Tusker House buffet for our lunch today since Animal Kingdom closes early. The restaurant was really good! Lots of different and unique food to choose from. Lots of different options for me, and everyone loved it. The Hrobars had family in to visit with them, so we decided to split up for a couple hours, and we met back up later for our other FastPass times. We rode the Kali River Rapids, and we didn't mind getting a little wet since it had been raining off and on all day long anyway. We still decided to all wear our ponchos in case we did get completely dumped on. It was a pretty short ride, and only Hudson and Adilyn got a big splash. The best part of the day was yet to come! The Hrobars had ridden Expedition Everest earlier, and they said it was fun, but it was finally our time to ride it. Oh my goodness, it was probably one of the funnest roller coasters I have ever been on! It wasn't the scariest, but it was definitely super fun! All the kids loved it, and there was absolutely NO line. Literally, the kids came off the ride, yelled, "Again! Again!", went right back in line and rode it over and over. I think they each rode it 7 or 8 times, easily. Kacy was jumping up and down every time she got off. Some of them waited a little extra to get the front car, which definitely had the best views. It was so cute! Luckily Brooke had fallen asleep, so we just took turns waiting with her stroller. Cory and I actually got to ride it side by side. It felt kind of like a date ;) After we were all Expedition Everest's out, we headed over to the Dinosaur ride. I didn't ride that one, and the kids all just said it was okay. The park was closing, so we grabbed food from the Flame Tree BBQ, which everyone said was delicious, and headed home. Finally, an early night! We were in bed by 8:30, and everyone got some much needed rest!

Our "date"
My thrill-seeker and I in the front car!
Our view on through the mountains
On top of Everest :)
We went to the Lion King show, and it was amazing! It was pretty much like a smaller version of a Broadway show. There was singing and dancing and acrobatics. Everyone really enjoyed it, and of course, we all left sining, "Hakuna Matata" all day long!
Pocahantas! We didn't know if we would meet her, since she is not out all that much, but we got lucky, and the girls just loved her!
