Mason and Wyatt did not have a birthday party this year, but of course, we had to do a little something to celebrate these special guys turning 9. 9 years old, really?!?! There was Duck Unlimited event out at Dewberry Farms, so we went to that in the afternoon. This is the same place that we won a BB gun, and a nice rifle at a couple years ago. They have a ton of stuff that they raffle off, and the kids get to go around and put their numbers in for the different prizes. There were hundreds of kids there, and we won 3 prizes again! It's definitely our lucky event! The best prize, the one we wanted the most was the little tiny, Brooke sized bike, and we actually got it! The other two prizes were not that great, but still, each girl walked away a winner. We got there late, but we still had fun on the slides, the hay stack rope swing, and the swings. We love it out there!
Later that night, we went roller skating. It was the girls first time on skates, and they did really great! Kacy used the little roller-walker thing most of the time for support, but Adilyn went out on her own pretty quickly. I was surprised that both of them stuck with it like they did and really worked hard. Adilyn had some rough falls, but she kept getting up and trying again! Kacy did great, and most of the time fell when she was trying to go too fast. At the end, we even got Brooke in on the action, and the girl did not want to take those skates off! They were Hudson's skates, so they were about two times too big for you, but she had a fantastic time trying.
