Brooke at 2

Brooke is everything I could have hoped for in a 3rd child, and she is everything I would have imagined the "baby" of the family to be. She is strong-willed, tough, a major copycat, dramatic, and hilarious! She makes Adilyn laugh, and she torments Kacy. Adilyn is so sweet to her, and she loves to help her. She lets Brooke get away with things that she would never let Kacy do. Kacy loves Brooke, but these days Brooke makes it her mission to ruin everything that Kacy is doing. She steals her ponies, she knocks down her towers, and she destroys her sandcastle piles. I guess it's the little sister thing to do. Brooke tries so hard to play with Adilyn and Kacy when they do anything, and sometimes she can hang and sometimes she just gets in their way. I'm sure all those relationships with fluctuate throughout the years. I know that they all love each other, there is just a certain annoying sister thing that goes around sometimes ;) The other day Kacy wanted to give Brooke and hug, and Brooke yelled, "Bugging me!" So, I guess it goes both ways!

Some of her favorites -
Shows: Mickey Mousey, Sofia, Ponies (My Little Ponies)
Foods: Eggs, cheese tortellini, pretzels
Drink: Apple G (apple juice)
Toys: Ponies
Movie: Frozen
Thing to do: dance around with a cape on, put her sisters' clothes on
Word: "Me!" Anytime we ask anyone if they want to do something, she always yells, "Me!" and puts her hand up

Some of her new skills -
*Taking her clothes off and putting them on
*Jumping high
*Putting her shoes on herself
*Opening up snacks and candy on her own (especially awesome when she sneaks it when she is not supposed to)
*Buckling herself in her booster seat
*Climbing out of her crib (Yikes!)
*Opening up the doors

Brooke is amazing. She cracks me up daily, and she loves copying everything her sisters do. She loves to get dirty and play. She loves playing with balls and pretending to play sports. I love how dramatic she gets when she sings "Let It Go.". I love that she sings herself to sleep. I love that she has a mind of her own, and knows what she wants. She literally spits food out that she doesn't like and quickly says, "No like it!. I love her little chipped front tooth. I love her little curls in her hair.  I love how she puts a "y" at the end of a lot of words - hatty, booky, cuppy, eggy. I love that no matter how hard I try to hide the markers in the house, she still finds them and gives herself "tiger strips" every chance she gets. I love her giggle.
I love being able to be home with Brooke. It's definitely a different experience to be home full-time with her, but I have really loved it. She is my little sidekick forever and always (at least until she starts pre-school next year!)
