Kacy is always hilarious, and I am so glad that I get to spend some extra time with her since I am staying home. Now that Brooke is napping, we get even more extra time one-on-one in the afternoons. I love our time for quiet conversations! Here are some of the things that she has thought about or talked about in the last week or two.
She always wants to do "tricks", and the other day she said, "Look, Mom, I can do a cartwheel with my hands!" I was like, yeah, all cartwheels are with your hands, but I didn't think she could really do one. So, I told her to show me. She put her hand on the couch, and she twirled her hand to make it look like a cartwheel. Pretty genius, in my opinion :)
We went to Walgreens to pick up some pictures. While I was talking to the lady and checking out, Kacy was exploring all the shelves in that area. As we were leaving, she said, "They had power drinks in there for you, too." I asked her what she meant. She said, "You know, those drinks that Daddy drinks that give him power for hours. Well, they had some pink ones for you, too!" The next time I went in Walgreens, I looked. They had pink 5 hour energry drinks right next to the ones that Cory drinks sometimes.
I got down all the Easter stuff the other day, and of course, the first thing Kacy wanted to do was have an egg hunt. I hid them for her, and she said, "You know that I will find them fast. I'm a good egg hunter because I went hunting with Daddy."
I was snuggling in bed with her the other night, and she said, "I'm so darn cute because I talk funny."
Anytime she gets what she wants she will say, "I'm a lucky duck!"
She loves the car carts at HEB, but I never go shopping there because I am lazy and go to the Walmart Neighborhood store right across the street. They never had the car carts, so she hated to go with me. The other day, we walked in and there stood beautiful brand new shiny green carts with seat! She was so excited! She jumped in, and she said, "See Mommy, dreams really do come true!" I need to teach her about making some bigger dreams!
