"Mama, I spit up"

Adilyn got her first stomach bug on Saturday. She woke up from her nap, and she was acting a little weird. She was saying that she had an ouchie on her belly, and kept grabbing at her belly. We were sitting together at her little table drawing, when she exploded! Cory was taking a nap on the couch, but woke up quite quickly when I screamed at him to help. I took her over to the sink; poor girl didn't know what in the heck was happening. After it stopped coming out, she looked up at me as I was cleaning her off, and with sad eyes said, "Mama, I spit up." She sees Kacy spit up all the time, and I guess she just assumed that is what had happened. Amazing how cute she can be even with a stomach bug! I felt so bad for her though. She was so hungry, but we didn't want to give her anything to eat. She didn't understand what was happening at all! Thankfully, today she was better, and she could actually eat a little bit. Poor sickie! Luckily, none of us got it...hopefully we will all stay well. :)
