Adilyn turns 6!

We had a very fun birthday celebration with Adilyn at Fuddruckers with the Hrobars. She was very upset that her birthday party was not going to be until late in June this year, so we decided to have a little birthday party on her actual birthday. Of course, she chose Fuddruckers for her birthday dinner. They have outside eating with a sandbox, so we love it too! They play, eat, and play some more! I couldn't go to lunch with her because they had something at the school, but Kacy and I were ready with her favorite cupcakes when she got home. Her presents were a Hello Kitty CD player/radio, a Justin Beiber CD, and a Fresh Beat Band CD. We have already had multiple dance parties! By the way, I couldn't believe how hard it was to find a CD player. There were plenty of kids iPod holders, but very few CD players. Oh, how times change!

My view of Adilyn at 6...She is much more confident and brave than she used to be. She doesn't like to try too hard to do something. If she isn't good at it the first few times, she gives up and doesn't like to keep trying! Even when she is nervous, she still does whatever she is supposed to do. For example, she was really nervous for her dance recital. Although she had her "nervous" face on for most of the performance, she went out there and did it. She seems to change friends a lot, which makes me think that she plays with lots of people fairly easily. She loves to sing and dance. I can envision many "made up" dance performances in our future. She loved school, and she does really well in class. I love her so much, and although I can't believe she is already 6, it doesn't make me sad because I absolutely love watching her learn and grow into an amazing girl.
