Wasting time during volleyball practice

Adilyn has practices on Sunday afternoon, so most of the time we all go up there and just hang out. I will watch a little bit of the practice, and then I will entertain the two little ones. One of their favorite things to do are "picture challenges". I will give them a list of poses or things to find to take pictures of, and they will go outside get their challenge done and come back to show me. It's always pretty funny to see what they return with! Here are some examples -

Swimmer Problems

So, when you are a year-round swimmer that swims at an outdoor pool, you get weird tan lines. I guess we need to get a stronger SPF for those backstroke days. Swim cap tan line!

Club Volleyball!

Adilyn started playing with a new volleyball club this year. It's a much smaller club, and she started in the developmental program. After about a month, the coach asked if she would be interested in trying to play on the club team. We were super hesitant because we weren't sure that she could compete with those girls. We had seen them play, and they were pretty good. He wanted her to play middle blocker because she is tall and she can jump pretty good. We were still weren't convinced that she could hang with them. She started practicing a little here and there, and everyone decided that she should give it a try. It's a lot more money, more time commitment, and more travel. They will be playing in San Antonio, Austin, and Chicago! I hope she can dig deep and find that inner beast, and quick! :)

Meanwhile, while Adilyn practices on Sunday afternoons, the girls do "missions" and take pictures on my phone. This is the "interesting pose" picture.

Sister Shenanigans

These three love hard, get annoyed easily, have crazy giggle fits, and love hard again. I love catching them in little moments of snuggles or "deep" conversation. I also love documenting times when Adilyn is letting them hug her because those are few and far between. :)

Big Reputation!

T-Swift!!! We were soooo excited to finally get to go to the Taylor Swift Reputation Tour. The girls had never been to a concert before, and I hadn't been to one in years! It did not disappoint! We got there early, and we took a bunch of pictures with all the radio stations and people that had set up stuff outside of the stadium. Then, when we got inside, they couldn't believe how big her stage was! Camila Cabello opened up for her, and she was pretty great. Then, Taylor came out, and the whole show was amazing! She had given out wristbands that lit up in all different colors based on the song she was singing. Brooke was most impressed with that. We were all up and dancing and singing for most of the concert. Brooke and Adilyn did get a little tired toward the end, but Kacy kept going strong! It was a great time, and I loved seeing the smiles on the girls' faces. I think I had just as much fun as they did!

Career Day!

These elementary dress up days can be a little annoying, but I know that I will miss them when they are old and grown up! Kacy decided to be an Olympian this year, and Brooke wanted to be a facepainter. Not sure how much money she thinks she will make, but she sure looked adorable :)
