Shoes
Adilyn has been really obsessed with taking her shoes on and off. I don't mind letting her do it as long as we aren't in a hurry. The other day when I picked her up from school, her teacher told me that her and a bunch of the girls in her class were taking their shoes off and switching them around. She said it was hilarious because they were doing it to try to by funny. They had two different shoes on and were laughing about it. I wonder whose idea that was??? Crazy that two year olds would even think to do something like that!
Yes, Sir!
Adilyn started saying, "Yes, Sir" everytime she said "yes" to a question that Cory or I asked her. It was weird because there are no men in her school, and Cory never tells her to to call him sir. Later on in the weekend, we realized that she was singing "BaaBaa Black Sheep"...all she could really sing was "yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full." So, now she always answers, "Yes, sir" to anyone who asks her a question. :)
Another confusing moment was when she kept saying what sounded like "farcker". We had no idea what she was saying. She was getting really frustrated with us. One day we were in the kitchen and she pointed to the graham cracker and said, farcker. It was a huge sigh of relief when we realized farcker = cracker! :) A couple days later we were in the car and she kept saying "mo farcker", which of course, sounded like some seriously dirty words! We had to laugh at that one.

New Baby
So, I haven't had one single post about New Baby. I am at 34 weeks, 6 weeks to go...This pregnancy has gone well, but to be honest I am just not a fan of being pregnant. Of course, all the aches and pains are completely worth it, but the whole process of growing out of clothes, having strange things happen to your body, etc are just not my favorite thing to go through. Having Adilyn to carry and pick up and hold makes it even less of a "beautiful blossoming belly" and more of an uncomfortable inconvenience. :) That sounds so negative, but it's just how I feel (especially these days). New Baby is a lot more active than Adilyn ever was. I can just be walking down the hall at school and this baby will give me a huge kick in the ribs, just to remind me that he/she is there. I haven't had the time to be as active and exercise as much as I did with Adilyn, but I still feel pretty good. I have started swimming a couple of times a week and I love being in the pool. Nothing like feeling weightless when during the day you feel like you are lugging the weight of the world in your belly. It is hilarious when I'm sitting with Adilyn and New Baby starts to kick or push her. I think to myself that they are "playing" already! Although when New Baby comes, I'm sure that we will face all kinds of other issues, I just want the baby to come. I just want the baby to be here, so we can move on in our new routine. (yeah, right - why am I even using the word "routine" and baby in the same sentence?)
Cory and I can't decide on boys' names. We have thought about Ty, Reid, Cole, Brady, and Kolby. I like Kolby, but Cory says that we can't name our baby after cheese. I say, why not, cheese is awesome!
For girls' names I think that I want Kacy, but can't think of a great middle name to go with that.
My thoughts...since I am the one that grows this baby for 40 weeks, I get to choose the name that I love the most unless Cory has a great reason why! :)
